I love watching these two shout at each other.
I wonder if Barney looks more or less like Fred Flintstone than he did last time I saw him.
Of course he'll talk about the marijuana. O'Reilly is priming the pump right now with stats and data why it shouldn't be done and studying up.
I hope someone on Frank's staff is smart enough to prep him on stats as well, because once O'Reilly starts losing, he's gonna start shouting, pointing fingers and making ad hominem attacks.
I think O'Reilly secretly reads MMORPG.com now that I think about it.

lol they aren't going to do anything productive, just try and talk over each other. Both of them lack the actual commitment to their respective sides to do the discussion any justice. You can tell its just a ploy by Barney Frank to be elected since he has been made the face of the Bank Meltdown. You can tell O'Rielly is against him because he just doesn't like Barney Frank.
Yeah I can't see a productive discussion occurring unless it is on an interesting topic like marijuana legalization where I think Barney at least won't walk off the set if insulted.
Should be interesting given Barney's even agreed to come back on.
If it turns out half as good as the one OReilly did with Joan Walsh from Salon.com, it's gonna be name calling and people twisting stuff all around where they both come off looking like unprepared jackasses.
Which is why I don't understand why Frank is going on. If OReilly looks like a jackass, that doesn't matter. It hasn't stopped him yet and he gets ratings from it and declares himself "the winner" on his next show, lol. (he's done that before)
If Frank loses, he's a stupid politician for going on that show. He doesn't have anything to gain from it at all. He must have some kind of "secret info stash" on Billo or something. I can't seriously imagine Frank needs this kind of press right now and you know Billo isn't going to be civil.

As much as I disagree with O'Reilly on his views, his supreme lack of fact checking and his overall disposition, I have to say he holds up well in most arguments.
Except the last time I saw Bill Maher on his show, he ate O'Reilly alive.
Barney Frank is going on Fox because people will tune in specifically to see him on O'reilly when they wouldn't tune in to see him on any other network. It's a calculated decision by a calculating politician. He just wants to get some added exposure for this bill he's drafted.
Barney Frank will lose from the conservative's perspective and win from the liberal's perspective. He will show up prepared, though, and I expect to see all the canned answers that represent both sides of the debate, whatever the end up debating.

I'll sum it up: O'reilly asks his first question and Frank gives a 70 second response. O'reilly speaks for 10 seconds and then blows a gasket.
I try to watch the O'Reilly show every night! I will make sure I watch this one. Last time Frank was on, Bill was losing it with him. This ought to be good!
Maybe Bill will cite statistics about the abuse of legalized drugs, as well as use a certain AM radio talk show host as an example.
Then again, maybe this will be the forum for Biill to come out of the closet and confess his undying love for Barney.........
Just have to tune in and see.........

I think he learned it from watching telenovelas. Which might be what his producers are shooting for. It's a broad demographic.
Pretty boring. They mostly ended up getting along with each other. I think O'Reilly went out of his way to try not to instigate Frank and I think after a few early barbs, Frank made a special effort not to whine like he usually does when he gets cut off.
I agree, very uneventful. LOL Did you notice how many times Frank looked at his nails? Like he was admiring them or something.

I an a complete opposite of barney but I do like him,he is a vary smart guy and stands up for what he believes in.He is one of the few liberals that comes on the show and dukes it out with Oreilly.

Frank is a smart guy and he doesn't shy away from what he believes in. But I still don't like him. Not because he is a liberal, but because he makes too many excuses, even for a politician. His ego is so huge, he could never bring himself to accept the fact that he shares some responsibility for this economic mess. When confronted with it, the first words out of his mouth are, "The Republicans..."
What truly scares me is the people who take him seriously...
I used to watch him all the time, I honestly though it was a show that was meant to be funny and he was being so obnoxious to make a hillarious point...
Then I learnt the truth.
And yea, I do beleive he frequents the forums here :P
