wtf @ patches

in Everquest II
I just bought the game a few days ago and the ammount of patches Ive had to download is really getting ridiculous...so far it's been a 2hour one, 3 hour one, 12 hour one (yep, wtf) and now as I'm typing a 1.5 hour patch. Im using broadband so my downloads are fairly fast too...it's like everytime I try log in to play the game there's ANOTHER patch to download even though I've managed to play my characters perfectly fine after the previous download sessions O.o I'm really confused as to whether my patcher is working or not...can anyone help?

Played and enjoyed: EQ1, DAoC, WoW

Played and disliked: Guild Wars, WAR

Currently playing: Nothing

Waiting for: Mortal Online

    Uhm seems odd, are you sure its not becouse you have bought add on's ? og selected some voice packs ?

    Cus after LU 27 there's only been one patch for me to dl, didnt take more then 15 sec to get that one.

    It's doing it again >_< everytime i try and log in the stupid thing makes me download a patch that takes a minimum of 1 hour. Can anyone help?

    yup i just reinstalled it and it was like 15hrs on my broadband so your not alone
