Is it me or does this game lag like hell?
Where can I get some creation tutorials?

I know it costs L$10 to upload textures, but how do I do that? My real talent is textures. So... Is there a market for textures in this game?

Lag is normal when you just teleport into a new region. Just wait a minute for all the data to load and you will usually be fine. If a lot of activity is happening on that server then lag will occur so just leave and do something else.
Search is your freind in Second Life. Go to edit menu, find the search entry and that will bring up the search menu where you can do a search for tutorial or learning etc.
Uploading textures is a menu entry somewhere also, perhaps in file or edit. I don't really remember at the moment.
Lots of people sell textures. If you are good you will sell some but don't expect to get rich.
There is no best way to make cash. Create something that you enjoy spending time on and meet other people who also enjoy doing it or using what you create.
Yeah. I found how to make textures, it costs L$10 to upload but I won L$120 on the drawing thing in the casino... so I'm good till i learn.
The problem I'm having now, is that there doen't seem to be ANY references to how to create clothes or how to make clear textures. The files they let you upload are not the right kinds for clear.

If you can play SL then you can get into their forums.
As far as Lag, forget it. It's not you, it's the game and their crappy devs who are doing to SL what the devs of SWG did back when they changed it. they are screwing up the game and real bad too.

I believe the SL forums might eventually be shut down for good,as far as I can tell.

It does appear that non-payment info members cannot access the forums,but my experience of the forums before the security breach when I had a paying account was basically 25% ideas/arguments and 75% flaming/trolling/drama.
So I don't think they'll be missed somehow. Plenty of third-party forums around,I'd imagine.
