I suppose there is logic in not giving all the content.

I myself browsed all the enemy monsters in the editor, and it was bit of a spoiler for the game.

Still unlocking maps/not be able to create own - doesnt have nothing to do with spoil

As for NWN editor - it is so complicated that i only managed to do adventures that need to be DMed

Whats the purpose of this tool?  Is it just to see what its like to make a quest or to try out your friends quest for fun?  Or does it have some effect on real game play.

It appears to be for several uses.

    1. The Guides and GMs seem to be using it to present their events some now, which were always good but could potentially be a lot better now.
    2. Players can create their own quests, guild towns and other paraphenalia to run their friends through.  Great for guild bonding, social events and satisfying the builder urge.
    3. These are supposed to be a cut down version of the tools the devs are using to roll out new content.

Mostly its for fun but quests etc are supposed to, eventually, give xp crystal rewards, which help you level in the real world.

For me it would have to mean something in the real game or I wouldn't even bother with it.  Well,.... I would probably mess around with the "free trial" some, but I dont know if I would pay for it.

There's the crystals part for that.

I'm curious though, WHY would it necessarily have to mean something in the world beyond for you?

    Example:
My guild hosts a pub night every other Tuesday evening in a pub in the real game world.
I've created a mission about supplying rum to that bar - smuggling it through the underground - bypassing the borders of three of the lands.

Does this or does this not have anything to do with the 'real' world?
