Anyways...here's a thought. I think, it would be interesting (I didn't say fun) to have to carry food and supplies around with you in an MMORPG. Like, you go hunting, and you get hungry, or thirsty, so your power begins to drain. Or you forget the words to your spell...or maybe I"m just retarded. You never know. But seriously, how many times have we all crossed the desert and thought...I bet that guy is really really thirsty. Anyways, I think that's an interesting idea.

So if you ate alot wouldn't you be full and thus less likely to be able to hit something?!

i do that right now

Im a whm cook in FFXI and a create a variety of pies, mushrooms, and juices for the majic users....make a bundle doing it too

Im not sure why this is under the FFXI forum but I agree with you Glibglib. I have always wanted a mmorpg where you needed to pack supplies and the appropriate equipment for your travels.

For instance if you were heading into the snowy mountains you would need to wear heavy winter furs and such and pack rope for crossing difficult terrain. Packing enough food and water would be neccessary as well of course. Lots of water for the desert and such.

Lots of people dont like that level of managment in a mmorpg but I have always thought it would be fun.

Something like that has already been done. In EverQuest, you have to eat and drink food once in a while or else your Stamina and Mana bar would never regen.
