    That's weird. What drivers are you using? Have you tried enabling AA and HDR in the conf files (the .ini)?

    The modern MMORPG is simply not worthy, of the acronym RPG. The straight grind and lack of atmosphere leave me with no choice. From this day forth, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, and all the games like them shall be referred to as PIGCRAP. People In Guilds Constantly Raiding And Power-leveling

    It's not weird.  That's how Oblivion is.  For everyone.  Unless you have an ATI card, then you can't have HDR.

    Thats pretty odd, im pretty sure you've got DirectX, the video card drivers ect. ?

    You could also go to the oblivion support forums and find/post yoru problem there as well.

    I think it's the objective of your past self to make you cringe.

    It's not a problem.  You have to choose which option.  You cannot have both on.  It's not a glitch, tech issue, etc.  Solution, read the manual.  It straight states it in there.

    I thought I'd heard that x1000 cards supported HDR+AA.

    FarCry was patched to support HDR+AA, I think. I hope Oblivion is too. I hate having to choose, myself. I generally go HDR because the environment looks so much better, but models look much better with AA.

    In time, I hope they allow both.
