Is it just me or are we being deluge with so many games it's getting more and more difficult to pick a game and stick with it. Has our gaming taste become so jaded? Discuss.

Yes, there is alot of MMORPGs out.
A few good ones to suggest is:

I'm in the same boat. I've played so many, that i can't even count. But there are a couple I'm looking forward to. (e.g. Gods and Heroes)
It's funny you listed so many games that are no comparison to L2 while not putting L2 on it. Nothing beats L2's Castle siege and artwork of graphics. Yes L2's PvE sux but so are the others, but that's all what the others have really while L2 still have Castle Siege.

It's funny you listed so many games that are no comparison to L2 while not putting L2 on it. Nothing beats L2's Castle siege and artwork of graphics. Yes L2's PvE sux but so are the others, but that's all what the others have really while L2 still have Castle Siege.

GW - Not even an MMO
KO - I think "lmmfao" fits this game nicely
Silkroad & Shadowbane - Both are good for being free. Too much grind in SO for me and Shadowbane has a crappy UI.
CoX - Can't say anything personally. I've never heard anything bad about it.
WoW - Lots of ppl play. Mind Numbing at best.
RFO - Haven't played. Can't say anything about the workings of it.
SWG - Didn't play Pre CU/NGE but CU/NGE fucking blows hard. Pre sounded very nice though.
EQII - Turns off alot of ppl due to no PVP and the PVP they just put in is known to be pretty crappy. Haven't played this one either though. Doubt it's very good, for the fact that it was developed under SOE.

I know. But do they have 1000+ players fighting at a single siege?
Also L2 is 1 world, with no zone loading.
Also their graphics aren't even close to L2's.
Go watch a L2 Castle Siege video then tell me about it. I have posted download links to such videos multiple times, and there are also screenshots.

SRO is also a clone of typical MMO with nothing new. Just more and more grinding, with not so good PvP. Good graphics though.

Completely nothing new, pretend to be the best purely by the number of MMO first time players who have no idea WOW is not even the #100 MMO after the first MMO being created. They thought it's something revolutionary while it is beyond laughable. Same old crappy grinding for PvE, meaningless crappy PvP, and silly graphics.
EQII somehow a lot like WOW when I tried it in the term of PvE, graphics engine is very advanced even beyond
L2's, but the artworks is nothing.
GW is NOT a MMO, and GW is NOT free. Please tell me the store gave you a copy for $0.00.
Knightonline...can't even see more than 10 meters ahead of me, can't even see the sky nor even look up, can only look down from above the character...same old endless grinding on the mobs walking around everywhere right outside towns.

wtf ! the site has streesed time and time again that Gw fits the equirements to be on the site so live with it ! and Guild wars do not claim gw to be free! only Free to play ! And Seamin you are so narrow minded this means that their is no monthly fee! And if you ask me u fit every thing to be an eve fanboi ! every game that was listed u dubd ! so obviously u play eve! Plus guild wars Has more potensial than any game on this site!
The devs even say it's not an MMO, look in the FAQ section it says something along the lines of "Guild Wars is not an MMORPG, we like to call it a CO-RPG" which fits it perfectly.
GW does not have potential either, the game is good for what it is but if you are wanting to compare it with MMORPGs it pretty damn crappy. I mean crappy wouldn't be the word for it, it just plain out f'ing blows. But, it's not a MMORPG, it's an RPGFPS.

RF Online is not a Lineage 2 clone. RF Online is a Factions VS Faction Vs Faction game just to start with. RF Online is potion spamming, Lineage 2 is not. L2 uses the classic level system, RF Online uses a mix between levels and PT's.
