Karma

Doesnt it suck, you do everything, like hold the door for other people, hold anger inside of you just so your not a jackass to someone else, say thankyou and smile, your generous, everyhting.  And yet the asshole next to you gets everyhting he wants, but he does nothing for anyone else.  Doesnt it just piss you off.  I dont believe in it anymore. And doesnt it seem like all the good die young and trajic deaths but the assholes live forever.  I dont get it.

That's because there's no such thing as karma! "Divine justice" simply doesn't exist.

If you want to get ahead in life, you have to be assertive. If you want good things to happen to you, you have to make them happen. Sure, there are things you have no control over. Well, those things you just ave to deal with.

I hope some day we can all put aside our racisms and prejudices and just laugh at people

I like that word.  You can't be all nice and merry, nor can you be all mean and destructive, you have got to be firm in the middle.  What you just said really summed up my thinkings, so here, have a cookie.

Oh, BTW, remember the saying "what goes around comes around"?  It NEVER works, so don't fall for it like many other gullible fools.

I don't believe in coincidence, nor do I believe in "karma" in the purest sense of the word...But I think that there is something to be said for good deeds coming back to you, and the same goes for bad ones.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

So you don't believe in karma, but you think your good and bad deeds "come back to you?" What else is that called?

I said that I don't believe in it in the purest sense of the word...Karma is saying that every single thing that you do, good or bad will contribute to your good or bad luck, and that you have an aura of sorts...at least that is how I describe it...and I don't subscribe to that belief...I simply mean that when people do good things in their life, that they in turn are more rewarded by those around them and by putting themselves in better situations through their deeds...I don't consider that to be Karma.
