Tips for noobie

Just wondering whats good for a Elvaan WAR just stated wondering these things.

How to get the red WAR armor.

Whats with the ? mark next to my name.

How to get a lil cash.

And anyother things that yall care to share im open too.

    -You start with some beginner equipment, And a sword. As soon as you can get an Axe, Warriors do best with Axe. Or a Great Axe (Lowest one is Level 5)

    - I assume you mean Artifact Armor, There are 5 pieces Lvl 52, 54, 56, 58 & 60. 3 of Those are quested, & 2 Can be opend from Coffers (They're like treasure chest, & you need a key). You have to be at least lvl 50 on that job to start the AF quests.

    - The Question mark means you're a new character. I belive it goes away after Level 5, or in your options > Help desk you can turn it off. It has no meaning or use, other than it stands for new character.

    - Your first way to make money is killing monsters & Selling items to NPC's. The second way is selling the the Auction house. To use the Auction house, once you have an item you want to sell, Look it up first. An example would be Moat carp. Click Buy, Then click Food, then Fish, then scroll to Moat carp. There'll be 2 Moat carp listings, one will be "Moat Carp" and other is "Moat Carp 12". The first one is for a Single carp, And the second one is for 12 (A stack). If you have Just 1, Click Moat carp then click price history to find out what they're going for. Then back out of the menu's and place your 1 Carp up in the Auction.

    Its a basic concept, its not really an Auction, its more of just a market. When somone places a bid it buys the item instantly theres not competing bids.

    lol  the users manual. if you've seen what they packaged with the xbox 360, all it tells is how to register with playonline, and a little card with keyboard commands. Thats it!!! Ive made it to lvl 11 red mage, but i too am very lost with alot of issues. I figured out the fame thing, and am progressing nicely with that as well as crafting, but rank???? I cant get any missions to increase my rank from any of the gate guards. any thoughts? do you have to do all the supply missions first for the orcish axe mission to open up for you?

    I think you might be talking to the wrong guard. By the Gate, 1 gives you signet, where you can do supply quests, Spend Conquest points, or do.. somthing else I don't remember..., And the other guard is for Missions.

    thx, im going to try that as soon as i get home from work, being as I am now addicted to this game, , I will re-post his replies to me afterwards. Im sure I have tried him because I went around to all of them, perhaps this is fame based? idk, i will let you know how it goes. im hoping its not a bug with the 360, because the macros ive made, from guides for PC's, do not work. I get command overflows or something like that. Maybe they are different for the 360. too bad i have to work tomorrow for a few hours, cuts into game time.

    No, Missions arn't Fame based. Only Quests use fame. Your macro problem could be you're putting too much togeather, put a "/wait 1" between macro lines.

    Telaki, your advice was perfect. All worked out fine. I am now rank 2, and am working on the rescue mission. thanks again.

    Sometimes you may have to trade the WW.guard a stack or two of crystals before you can get the next mission.

    not much, just do quests and kill mobs and such for awhile
