Maybe some of you should go back and carefully read the OP's post before jumping to your coveted WH miniatures collection or pulling your tinfoil hats down to your ears.

I wont even waste my time reading any of your posts... First off how about we all argue about the similarities and differences in fantasy MMORPG games. If you havent realized yet I just used a bit of Dry humour.... All Fantasy MMORPG's are the exact same things with different graphics that either incorporate pvp or dont. The only thing different about this game and Vanguard is hmmm.... Nothing? Nothing is different, they arent doing anything new.... Nothing inovative, some games put in a new "trading system" here or there but who actually cares? Once you all realize that all you do is b*tch and moan you will probably get over this sad fact that haunts all fantasy MMORPGS and just sit down and play them regardless... I know i do.
The noobcake general public that post here without doing there research all share the fact that they are paying attention to the wrong details of the game. They see EA is involved and that turns into one long useless thread. Then they notice slightly cartoony colorful graphics and we hear "ITS A WOW RIPOFF ZOMG".
Here is what you should be focusing your attention on if your a mmo fan.
-Mythic is making this game -Mythic made DAOC -Daoc easily one of the best PvP experiences for its time -RvR -Charachter Collision -Get equal gear from PvP as you can from PvE -Game is completely PvP-Centric -Great and indepth story line -Skill based PvP -RvR -PvP -RvR
Actually they did mention raiding, they even gave an example. Can't remember where it was but it went something like this. (Talking about the Night Goblin Caves)
The Night Goblin Cave will be a dungeon, but it won't be instanced untiiiil..... you get to where the boss fight are. That part will be instanced, and the fights will be scaled down to the group you're in.
So if they adopt this philosophy on all dungeons, there are no raids. The way they're using instances is really genius. They're using them so that lone people and people unprepared won't run into bosses that will stomp them into the ground. And you don't need a certain number of people to take down a boss since it will be scaled to your group.
The other form of instances of course are the scenarios, which need no introduction or explanation.
Just thought I'd share this bit about raiding, since it's a very difficult topic to find. This was in one of the newsletters if you care to dig it up by the way.
(EDIT: I interpreted this example as being made because a lot of dungeons in games now are instanced completely. I don't think anyone has called it raiding or has referred to any aspect of the game as "raiding" aside from raiding the capital city which is another use of the word entirely. So feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, or if I wrote something down inaccurately.)

Close mouthed? They aren't finished the game! They didn't start it too long ago! There's a still a whole year for them to talk and develope. You want to see close mouthed, go look AoC. They haven't said anything about raiding and theirr game is coming out this winter.
Hardly anyone has even asked about raiding in WAR.
