Which mmo to play?

My post was deleted because of the forum database crash, so i'am creating a new similar one.

Anyway going to sum it up, i'am looking for a new mmo to play, and i could need some tips from you people here on the forums.

If you can, tell me which game you recommend and why.
Also if you are playing the game yourself, what do you dislike and like about it?

Atm, i'am wondering about either starting with EQ2 or CoH/CoV again, but of course feel free to recommend other games.

Thanks in advance.

Edit:
World of warcraft
Star wars galaxies
Everquest 2
Matrix Online
City of heroes/villains
Linage II
Dungeons & Dragons Online
Cabal Online
Ragnarok Online
Anarchy Online
Guild wars
Face of mankind
Eve Online
Sage of ryzom
Final Fantasy XI
MapleStory

Those are the games i've played, and atm i really feel the urge to either give EQ2 or CoH/CoV a new chance.

I remember you're first post, like I said in the other, I wouldn't reccomend playing any current games out there, since you had quite a list of what you played previously.  I would save you're time and money until 2007 comes with some new MMOs that look promising.

That is what I'm doing, I quit MMOs about 2 months ago and started playing my 360 games on XBL.

    What i want, hmm..

    - I want to have fun will a play
    - Be able to both solo and group when i want
    - Good pve content
    - Good character customizing(be able to make an unique character)
    - Some form of pvp(not requierd)
    - A good lore/story is always a plus
    - Some roleplaying wont hurt either
    - Decent graphic and good gameplay
    - Population also plays a role for me, don't like "dead" games.

Thats what i can come up with what i want in a mmo atm..
    Hope it helps.

    Edit:
@Nubzi - I've been told that many times before :P but there is just something about mmo games i like, even if i only play a game for a short period of time, i may have a blast while i play.
I've several time stopped playing mmo's for a long period of time, but eventualy i'll come back to a game and play.
Oh and yes i'am really looking forward to some new mmo's, Age of conan, Warhammer, Vanguard is some.
    Anyway thanks for your advice.

    Go play WoW.

It's really simple, somewhat lacking in customization, but a fun game if you like easy.

Play EQ2 if you want lots of PvE content. The PvP is not so great though, and would rather not like to go into detail. And for anyone who wants me to say why I think that, I will if requested. EVE is another good. Right now there isn't really much of anything so if I were you I would wait.

  • I know wow can be fun, but for now i'am not going back to it, want another game.
    But thanks for mention it.

EQ2 yes, i really want to try it again, but i also as i've said want to give CoH/CoV a new try too, so its kinda hard to choose...

Well, i would suggest to try Lineage 2 if you havent played it yet. The game is much similar with wow so would surely like it. :D

  • I've tested Lineage 2 as you see in my list, and i didn't like it, was almost non to see in the starting areas, and i've heard that the money using in the game is out of hand and a lot of ppl use ebay and do botting, thats not something i'd like to play.

Those are if i remember free to play, but has you can buy "uber good" items for real money or something? anyway, i've tried Silkroad online, its a decent game, but its not a game i can play for a long time, its just something about korean mmo's that i don't like, also f2p games are often much worse than p2p games, and i don't mind paying for the mmo's i play.
