in Final Fantasy XI

I saw at gamespy that Square Enix will probably stop doing expantions to FFXI,is it true?

If so will SE stop patching this game?And geting more content via free patches?

    I have posted this same tred on Allakazam.

    And they replyed me that, people on gamespy saied the same thing on previous expantions, SE will continue to suport this game ;D

    Yeah, theres already plans for another expansion. It was brough up in one of the latest SE interviews. As it is now, there are major patches every 2 months. I don't see this changing anytime soon, At least not for a few more years. As long as peopel are still playing the game, it will go through further development. Just look at the older games like Everquest that have 10+ expansions.
