    Well for the record.

    City of Heroes will be a very well constructed and designed game. I believe it will take in the over all replay value of a RPG. But I also believe those who start the game will enjoy it to a full 6-8 months. Then there will be the flood to EQ 2 or WoW.

    And now to the other point about jacks. His post is

    I strongly Dissiagree with the people moveing on. They are diffrent games with some diffrent Audence. and people have sence this for every new game coming out.. once "insert name here" comes out eq is going to die.

    I will definitely give this game a try for 4-5 months. But if it doesn't keep my attention I will be moving on.  I think the game will be successful for awhile, but I also think it'll end up like Planetside. Have a small following of about 10K-20K playing it. That's just my thought. Once EQ2 and Wow are out, I'm sure people will leave CoH and many other games as well. Not saying CoH will be bad. Just saying that I don't think it'll have the huge draw like SWG or  FFXI had.

    Yes Starwars and Final Fantasy had huge "draws" but look at alot of the posts the players of games are throwing on to the boards. Alot of them say that the games have totaly flopped and were nothing but a bunch of flashy graphics and sounds thrown together to make a bit of lizard skin. And judgeing by alot of SWG gamers it seems that EQII and SOE all together have lost a nice fraction of the MMO gamer population...

    But none the less, we all have our drink of choice. As do we have our MMO of choice, some like trolls and elves, others blasters and ships, and others wham! boom! bang! swoosh! and adam west!
