Simple, create a level 1 player on a server, and call him the name you are currently called. Then pay for a character transfer to that server. When you first start up your moved character you get the option to rename because your name has been taken. It costs, but if your desperate to change your level 60's name like i am, it's worth it.

I guess it could work, but does a name really mean all that much? I mean, you gave him his first name, you cant not like it THAT much. And, you have to PAY. That just sucks. I could understand if your name in RL was Terd Furgeson, but it is some imaginary name in an imaginary world. Will people discriminate just because your name is something you dont like? I think not.

a better way is just to have some people report your name and make a big deal about it. but yeah if you are already planning on transferring that is a good way to make sure it gets changed.
Yeah, everyone knows your old name means something racist in Swahili right? They have GOT to change it.
Considering the OP's forum name, I can understand why he might want to change the name of his char.
Great idea ! Thanks for info !!!

Say your name is offensive in [insert random language] and I would like to have it changed to [insert new name here]
Problem solved.
Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware
"Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product."
No doubt.
