I wish it wasn't true myself, I really liked the game and was looking forward to them expanding it. I'd nearly finished all the quests with every class, just needed to finish the summoner. I'd been playing both servers just so I would be able to test all classes and, except for the very last week, had a good time. If it was just a wipe that wouldn't bother me, I expect and even look forward to wipes in betas, they usually mean something new is on the way in, but wipes don't take over a week and they don't shutdown the website.
Well about the website i hear that they will finally update that to bit time from feng but yeah i think they would to it in 3 day or so. Damn againe i have lost great game i think its the 6 now .
@xgraver I'm fairly sure Feng was gone, the last weeks the game was up there was a lot of comments on missing GMs and the only ones who were making posts were avarice and MadDeva, then just avarice, then no one. The forum, and some parts of the game, turned into a real sewer and no one was responding to reports or locking threads at the end.
My biggest disappointment with the game was that DQ seemed to stop trying to fix bugs in the middle of the test server phase and just shoved it onto main with hundreds of problems intact. I'm one of those people who like to find and turn in bugs, and sometimes find the reason for them. I prefer playing betas where the company actually wants to put out a professional game and fix the bugs, not just slap something out there for quick cash (Though I understand the need for funds, games aren't cheap to develop).
I think DQ just saw themselves getting locked in a quagmire of bugs, cut their losses and ran. I don't really blame them for that but they could have at the least kept the community a bit more informed, especially at the end.
I'm not one of those people who believe that a company "owes" me anything for playing their beta but I've always felt that a company that stays in touch with it's community is far more professional than one that doesn't. It's never fun to face a horde of rabid gamers when a game goes down but IMO those who do show a lot more character. I'm also far more likely to try and help with future projects for those who do communicate with their community than I am for those who don't.
Really missing Ferentus. It's the most addictive MMORPG I've played. Great graphics, nice skills, and a really strong community. I miss my friends there I hope it comes back, free, pay for it, doesn't matter. I'll be there. I've been unable to find anything close to it. I do wish the company would at least let the game's fans know what is going on. It's not nice to leave us all hanging, and bad customer relations if you want people to pay for it later.
yes i must aree whit you its not so hard to but some note up in the webpage what will happen or is it finnaly gone but if they realy close it for ever then i hope the company will run out of money and no one will remember that. Damn pasterd you kill Kenny.

I miss playin Ferentus with you all but it looks like it won't be coming back soon. If it does at all it won't be hosted by DQ it seems.

DQ will be hosting MMOs, but at the moment, they got screwed on their first attempt.
Herrcot is the same thing as Ferentus....Same company even...Ferentus was apperently some kind of test thing only. the new one hasnt yet been launched. and i dont know wen it will....nor does the site say
Yes that's true. Herrcot is the original Korean version. Ferentus was the English version. They are both from the same company but different hosts. I'm not sticking up for any companies or any people here. Just passing along what I've read about it.
Well, maybe it will never be back, but I found Herrcot dowload and the english patches. Now this Ferentus addict is getting her fix I love it! And their are as many english players as asian, if not more. The best part is that many are from Ferentus! I've even found a few friends I thought I'd lost forever when Ferentus wiped. Check out gamefreaks.com for everything u need.
personally i think the server is gone forever cuz its november and i still cant get on the site. i thot it was just my computer but when i restarted it still didnt work. does anyone know when the server will be bak again? if anyone does just post it on the forums.
the word is that ferentus will be back up dec 4th. everyone keep your fingers crossed if you're looking for anymore info check out www.gamefreaks.iforumer.com alot of good info and people on the forums there.
also sadly herrcot is ending but everyone is going over to xiones you can get info on that at gamefreaks also.
