Yeah it does look a lot like EQ2, but its almost beyond imagination that it would look any other way. BmQ has a style and that style was first seen in EQ, hes not gonna change his style.
Im really looking forward to this game. I really enjoyed EQ1 and the difficulty of levelling and recovering corpses etc. It required groups to work extremely well together to get anywhere. I didnt like the group Exp penalty for a member death in EQ2. It was a silly idea and I predicted it would last, still the devs have to chew thier bone, they wont be told.
The more I see and hear about VSoH the more I think it may actully be something I can get into.

Far as I know, the same artist did V:SOH interface, if that's the case it should not be a surprise. Many Games adopted EQ UI back before 2004. I think the only thing WoW gave to the MMORPG community is a better interface.
I'm very pesimistic about this game. I really do not think Diplomacy will add anything of substance to the game world and the fact that crafting makes only 15% of end game items bothers me.
Seems like it will be another kill and loot game
I hope I am wrong though. Even though it is a SOE collaboration.

Meh, another PvE centric game, no thanks.
I'll continue waiting for WAR
