The game looks pretty good to me! I have (almost always) enjoyed a beta test. being among the first to be in-game and exploring is a plus too.
Some English beta status games just don't pan out even though they are fairly popular, like elemental saga. I actually thought that game had good potential in many ways. It is doing ok in the korean gaming world. Maybe SoR will turn out to be a hit and because we beta tester's input is valued that would mean we helped the game be a success. And whats wrong with free play??? I was #91 to get confirmed, I feel that winning anything is a plus! I see a lot of familiar names on the "almost got in" list and I am sorry you did not.

Nevrax sent out a mail yesterday that they've set up a download for the client for all people who still haven't got their CD... Just check your mailbox for the link
But, you still have to wait a bit, because the server only accepts 50 simultaneus connections.
Well, but IMO that's a good (and maybe, for Nevrax, cheap) alternative for spreading the client.
yeah i got no email also i would prefer a download cause my CD-Rom is broken don't know whats wrong with it so im gonna take open the tower and make sure the connections are secure
I thought maybe I filled out something wrong because I never got a confirmation about winning this contest or how to get the software (placed #426 in the contest). After reading this thread I see that I am not the only one. Guess I am just impatient. If any does get any further info about the beta please post it here. Thanks.
They will mail you the software which is why you had to type in your home address after you won the contest. This could take different amounts of time depending on where you live.
dude i got 4th in the confermation ok i enterd my info and stuff im not Whinning just stating that i would prefer a download due to the fact of my CD-ROM is broken i know it has to be shiped and the way customs are in the US prolly take make more weeks than normal so just please shut up if u don't know what ur talking about

I'm # 162, I am pretty excited. I have not been following this game as much as I was Mythica, but it seems to have a more interesting an elaborate background than most other Fantasy MMOs
#27 and looking forward to trying something that appears to have some fresh ideas...as do most MMORPG's coming out this year. I think everyone has learned the good and bad from all the current MMORPG and are really trying to make the genre soar into its next evolution
I am trying to beta everything I can in hopes of finding a "sleeper". From what I have read and seen, WoW and EQ2 certainly have the spotlight, but that doesn't mean and I am hoping that one of these other great titles will come through shining!
