do you like instances?
do you like quite a few challenging missions?
story driven game, with side quest distractions/leveling?
a level cap of 20 that you can get in 2 weeks if you play a lot?
areana style combat, being the purpose of the game?
challenging areana style combat, that involves a lot of team work?
skill based combat ranging from your build of 7 skills, some twitch, and stradedy?
relying extensivly on other people to complete objectives?(theres only like 2-3 soloable builds, which are expesive and pretty boring to use)
no crafting? (the main reason why i don't only play this)
a $50 price tag well 150 if you get all the expansions, with no montly fee. its very nice for playing when you don't feel like playing your main game.
a OK computer, any sort of lag in PvP will be devestating... though you can play very comfortably on a dell with minimal requirments for play verse enemy.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
2. 8 skills at a time. Although taking a skill instead of a ressurection signet is too big of a gamble in most PvP-battles.
3. Dont buy from the NCSoft online-store, it will always be full price. Stores have Prophecies and Factions marked down to about 20-25$ each (at least in Europe).
4. Im playing with a Geforce5200FX (which is not so great) on medium settings (no AA & such) & get no video lag, I think that counts as low requirements.
To add: PvE is for the most part fairly easy, the skill & proffession system is alot of fun & you need a good guild to make the most out of GW when doing PvP.
The 20 level limit will ALWAYS be in place in order to balance PvP. You can get 20 in one or two days in Factions, but I think its a bit too fast leveling curve for people that need to learn their class.
Edit: Dymrik: All chapters are on the same server, you start in the region which corresponds to your geographical location (usa ends up on us, euro on europe server & so on). You can switch regions up to 6 times, then your account is permanently in the region of your last choice.
But there are international districts where you can meet up with people from other regions. Only software costs money, no montly fees & such.
