I am also pretty sure that eq2 will take much more advatage of the INSTENT zones..Something that has become very popular and IMHO very nessesary for a MMORPG to do well..
Solves so many problems!

*nod*, they will. And for soloers they would have a variation most likely, 1 zone that is divised into many smaller section and you cannot change section without zoning out, only 1 player per section, cannot afford to have 1 zone per soloer, anyway, it would be boring for someone to be alone in his zone, rather have ooc, auction and shout at least.
It will, hopefully, be closer to LDoN then to GoD, yet, removing the timer is nice. Unsure how they can make that nice for casuals althought, since most casuals are desesperate over LDoN points system (take them year to earn 1 item). I am sure they will come out with something, maybe the cost in points can increase when you have more items of that pool or something, so it can be very easy to get 1 first very nice item, but the second cost more and so on...we will see(in such a system you need to be able to reset and get any item refund IMHO, maybe have a 10% points penalty, but I dont even think it is necessary to have any penalty, new items can cost more instead of removing players earned points, the only necessary penalty is a timer before been able to use refunded points to avoid peoples changing to much for the fun, can take a week to actually be able to use refund, it is NP). *try to calm down*

If you ask me, that was one of the best features about EQ1, some mobs/areas are more difficult than others, XP bonus was implimented to give people incentive to hunt in those areas instead of overcrowding Oasis or the other easier zones.
You are confused when saying XP bonuses cause overcrowding. Its a solution for it, mate.
