Two bands I think I would say a lot of bands ripped off, but never get the respect they command.
Kyuss and Prong.
So many bands have ripped off the sludgy, heavy, desert sound of Kyuss. That includes Metallica starting with their load album. Of course they didn't do it in a good way. But I remember seeing an interview with them right before Load came out and they were asked what it sounded like. Newsted said "Kyuss!" I was sad when I heard load, but that's a different story.
Then you have so many guitarists playing the shit Tommy Victor from Prong was playing 16 years ago.
On your list I like AC/DC, as long as Bon Scott was singing. Pantera were great for about 4 albums. But they started getting stale. Led Zeppelin was ok to, I guess.
Metallica, System of a Down, Guns N' Roses, Disturbed, Three Doors Down, Creed

the OP is probably some 7th grader who just found that AC/DC is the 'cool' thing to like.
Let's see if he, better yet, ANYONE knows about these bands: Wolf Parade Darude Kernkraft Sufjan Stevens Silversun Pickups At the Drive-In The Mars Volta ^ Them therr be some good bands.
Tool, Disturbed, Metallica, and a few other random bands that most people havn't heard of.
I don't like AC/DC, most of their music sounds the same and is usually just a repeating catchy line for 5 minutes, they kinda remind me of the Beatles, if the Beatles couldn't sing and were 3 feet tall.
Guns N' Roses are interesting, I wish that they had stuck around longer, they had a few really good songs, but most people know those very few songs and none of the shit load of other stuff that they have that's mostly horrible.
Some rap is okay, but like Xexima said, most of it is utter crap.
I listen to all music though, all of it with the exception of techno, God I hate techno.

... I've never heard of any one of them. and I'm a music geek...
I find it humorous that a few of you badmouth some of the pioneers of hard/heavy rock. AC/DC was a very influential band. If you talked to many of the groups that are out now, I would be willing to bet they would claim AC/DC was a definite influence on their music. This also goes for Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and a host of others. Each of these bands created individual sounds that have been copied and mutated by the newer generation of groups.
The same goes for guitarists. Angus Young, Jimmy Page, Randy Rhodes, Tony Iommi, and yes, even Eddie Van Halen changed what guitarists can do with a guitar.
Side Note* Tony Iommi played some incredible licks and he is missing the tips of two fingers on his fret hand.
Metallica is over-rated IMO
I shoot for the curve... anything above that is gravy.

Darude - Good vocal electronic music. I like how Busta Rhymes ripped Technologic for one of his choruses.
Sufjan Stevens - Made popular by the all-too-overrated soundtrack to Garden State. Indietastic my ass. Sufjan isn't bad, though I prefer some good ole Elliott Smith or Nick Drake.
At the Drive In - Too hard for me. I find Cursive to be similar, but more vocally and musically appealing.
The Mars Volta - Musically talented band with a shitty lead singer. This plagues alot of bands these days. Try The Arcade Fire for a similar, yet better (imo) alternative.
Never heard of any of them Xexima, yet you claim to be a music geek? Blasphemy.

And I bet the OP can't even name a decent guitarist anyway...
