Current EVE Status?

in EVE Online
Due to my WoW server being down, thought I'd give some more MMORPG's a go.

But to my annoyance, the EVE website seems to be down, so I can't access anything - has it been like this long?

    It's usually up.

    BTW the Eve server is up, 23k ppl online.

    Nah, website is still down. I know the Server is up, but obv I can't log in, can't even get the patch.

    Well that's odd then, tried clearing my Cache and switching Browsers... what more can I do really?

    It is down for me too, however if you trace it you will see it is just one of the key internet nodes is down. EVE site is up, but your computer just cant find a way to it before it times out. Since EVE website is based in Europe depending on the area of the world you live at these kind of issues happen from time to time.

    Oh, well, at least there is a Dev Chat today. Maybe they will address it? The chat log should be posted on omgrawr.net sometime later today.

    I haven't been able to log into the game client for 2 days now let alone the website.  I'm wasting valueable skill time here.  I keep getting a "Connection to Server Lost" error when it tries to "Aquire Bulk Data".  I asked support for help but apparently there's something wrong with my ISP.

    Because I wasn't able to play just 3 days ago perfectly fine.  /rolls eyes

    still could be your isp. Netzero did all sorts of crappy things to me, why I finaly ponied up for cable.

    This was around 2 weeks ago and the reason people had problems was a faulty router table. It was fixed within 24h (which is why the last msg in this thread before yours was less than a day after the first).
