Are you trying WoW because of Southpark?

    You stayed home on the wrong day. It is downtime day. And they their having login problems (what a surprise image)



    I came back to WoW partly because of the South Park episode. I was getting sick of EQ2, the bland textures and color really bug me.

    And whats worse they're having problems with the authenticating servers. Its annoying really, when you come home from work or school and you know its maintenance day and should be up when you get home but it isn't. Well, just play other games until its up again.

    That ep was a laugh hahaha.I stoped playing ages ago image (back might come back for the hell of it) .....hahaha the sword of 1000 truths lmao.

    It's amazing.. South Park actually made WoW look FUN! But then of course, they didn't use that much in-game recorded content.

    Good choice! Guild Wars is really bad in my opinion... Well at least compared to WoW.

    And no I didn't start playing WoW 'cause of South Park... I was already addicted lol but the episode was really good!!

    I expected many to come back as a result of the SP episode, but I find it interesting that ppl tried it for the first time because of it.

    I got a lot of laughs during the episode.  Probably one of the best episodes of South Park I've seen in a while.

    However.....

    Absolutely ZERO desire to restart my account. With the Blundering Crusade coming up I don't see myself playing WoW again for a long time (if ever).  Blizz borked the game into World of Raidcraft.  So if I wanted mind-numbing, time-consuming grinding and raiding in order to get ahead I'd still be playing Everquest.  image

    it almost made me re-join wow. i found it in myself to stay away form the world of raidcraft. im looking forward to vanguard, thats where ill blow my next countless hours on.

    I personally am not a new member because of SP but most of the hall-way in my dorm is.  Yeah about 20-25 people signed up within the past couple weeks.  What a fu--ing marketing ploy that was.  I imagine someone just retired because of it.  I am not saying it wasn't a great episode, but holy hell.  Imagine what subscription jumped to.  image I BOW TO THE MARKETING SCHEME image image

    I will also bow image to the marketing scheme, but I still love to WoW so what ever.  On a plus note my wife almost played it because of the show.

    Never watch SP so I didn't see the episode. But, I play WoW so I guess it doesn't matter.

    I came back to WoW because I wanted to make a 60 character right before Burning Crusade comes out, it seems that I might still be able to do it, but I gotta work faster.. Anyway, the southpark episode rocks ! I'm not really a fan of Southpark, but seeing that video sort of makes me feel like Southpark is really nice animation that appears to be cut from origami paper, but I'm not really sure bout that.

    I strongly encourage viewers or players alike to watch the Southpark World of Warcraft episode! It's on youtube.com going at 20+ mins and its Episode 1008, i think. Have fun all!
