CLICKY

A company by the name of In2Games has created a new control method -- codenamed "fusion" -- that could be a potential Wii buster. The technology uses sound waves and In2Games claims that it is more accurate than either the PS3 or Wii motion sensing controllers -- which operate using gyroscopes and IR sensors.

Woohoo, go X360!

Competition is good! This is great news for Wii developers and the
x360 alike! If the controler scheme becomes maintstream then more games
will be developed with the style in mind. Which means Wii games and
x360 games will both sale better. Well in anycase I've seen the Wii in
action and if its any idicator I think the motion sensing controler is
here to stay. You guys are going to love some of the Fps's being
developed for the wii. Red Steel is like a childs game compared to one
    coming out in late 2007image

Yeah. Competition has always been good. Though I'm somewhat a Nintendo Fanboi, I'm actually somewhat pleased hear those news. Only shows that Marketing divisions have seen the hype for motion controlled games. This is probably why that In2games(probably along with ms) and sony jumps the wagon.

As this is 3rd party hardware, I dont' think it will really be able to compete with the Wii. Developers just don't cater to 3rd party technology.

Look at the dance pads, laser guns, etc. Besides the game they were created for, and a couple of others, they really aren't a big market.

The modern MMORPG is simply not worthy, of the acronym RPG. The straight grind and lack of atmosphere leave me with no choice. From this day forth, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, and all the games like them shall be referred to as PIGCRAP. People In Guilds Constantly Raiding And Power-leveling

when it gets more first party support then I'll take it seriously...until then, yay for them for totaly ripping off the Wii, but I'm not going to buy a ps3 or xbox360 for the simple reason that the Wii is designed around this controler, in the ps3 and 360 it was an afterthought., and that means that it will be more supported...not to mention the backwards compatability.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

Disclaimer: I am not knocking you Anageth.

Has anyone TRIED 3rd party controllers before? Guess what? They are terrible and not worth buying (save Logitech).

My Logitech Cordless Action Controller (PS2) roxxors.

But this is a whole new type of controller. It could be cool, but if it is, it probably costs a buttload.

I've never heard of this company before. That alone gives me a great deal of certainty that this product will fail miserably. And of course they can say its more accurate than the Wii... But I can guarantee you it won't be. My only concern with the Wii is the lifespan of the controllers. I'm sure many of you remember the N64 controllers that turned to crap a week after use.
