Game May actually Be Getting Worse!

This game is really getting hilarious now. It seems that the recent patch to "fix" stuff a couple days ago (also was unannounced..by the way) has not only NOT fixed the existing ALI problems, but now MORE of the few Fanbois have the ALI error.
It can't be long now.... The few fanbois left might actually come to finally see that the game is a joke over this one. This post shows some signs:

I don't know...I've never seen the complextion of a game change so much. From rollbacks, game busting exploits, lack of content, all the way to major nerfing. Not to mention bugs, Gm unbalancing and highly anticipated patches that do more harm than good. Top it off with Farlan blaming it all on the fans. If all that didn't unseat the remaining players...is there anything that will???
Makes one wonder at the diversity of human nature. To put up with all that and still patronize this tragedy of a game in the hopes that some miracle will happen.( By the way, getting 3 months free is like Farlan saying, "Here, we've made the last 3 years of your life a living hell at a premium price. We'll give you the next 3 months free!!!)

Hmmm. I keep asking myself this same question. What kind of person WOULD stay this long? Are all the other MMOs out there worse than this one? I don't think thats the case.
Are there just some people who MUST be playing a MMO to be happy? Maybe this is the case. I know I haven't played a MMO since Nov 2005 when the "bubble" went up @ swg. I miss the old game, but I won't be playing one again until it has been out a while and actually proven itself.
I look at it this way; Once burned, twice the fool. What does that make those that still play who have been burned countless times?

Why do some women/men stay with partners who mess around on them and use them for punching bags? Never try to understand people all you will do is frustrate yourself.

I was married for 5 years and it was by far the most difficult time of my life. I'll never do that again!!! Needless to say, I haven't tried to figure people out since then.

Well, Farlan blames us for D&L failure... and I keep wondering if he may have a grain of truth in it... I mean, have we done ANYTHING for farlan in the last couple of years? Have we given him our credit card numbers? Our signed void checks? Or sent him gifts of gold and precious gems? Or at least sent him a greeting card with hearts and "We wuv u" messages? Did we? No we didnt... I havent sent him a penny, not even a greeting card... Its all our fault..its all my fault ... MY FAULT....
Yeah, we should of kept our mouths shut. Never said a bad word to him or his gang. Should of learned french to better understand what the heck were they saying. Should of never doubted those screenies they kept posting. Shoulg of never listened to blasphemy by some people who unfarely trolled up these forums. Yeah... But we did, and now we are to blame.
PS: sorry for my rant, they had a big sale on heavy sarcasm and i my credit card had 2500$ limit before I maxed it out...

Even the banter on the forums is pretty much dead. Maybe 3 new posts per day, if that. I really doubt that there are more than 100 people left logging in at all.

I'm still around, although due to DnL and SWG:NGE, myself and a few others have decided to start making our own games. At least we've had plenty of examples of what not to do.

Seriously though, good luck in your endeavor. I honestly believe that the MMORPG market is going to suck wind for a while until small indy companies and groups like yours start producing good, solid, innovative stuff, and force them to compete with real QUALITY for a change.
