The BC: False hopes or fantastic new beginnings.

A small poll concerning the up-coming BC. As you know, many are anticipating the BC. Some have stayed in one level 60 position for over a year or longer.

Will the BC bring about a tide of events that will unlock a whole new dimension of unseen gameplay to the WOW masses? Or; will it just provide temporary new gameplay elements that will wane quickly and be replaced with the current end-game repetition and grinding?

How many of you are really looking forward to the expansion for it's own sake or are you just plain bored with the current game?

Why did it take so long to bring about an expansion?

The poll: What is the final result?

I will stay and try it out, but if it ends up being the same thing as now, such as class respecing every month I will prob have to leave. Blizz needs to get there stuff together. NCSoft with Lineage 2 had similar issues of just randomly banning people for no reason, and Blizz has just started to do the same.

I'm going to wait a few months first. If the expansion seems good, new content, less raid, good reviews, then I'll pick it up.

I rarely play now as it is, so I can wait.

I'm going to say it should be quite good. I think Blizzard have heard some of the concerns and have worked on that in the expansion. Time will tell if the verdict is good or bad.

BC should have came out next month, as it won't be worth it to wait until January. November 21st is when my blizzard account goes dormant. I may come back, but likely not. World of Warcraft isn't the only game in the world.

    Think of it this way:

When you were a kid, or a younger kid, games were different. You played them, beat them, and moved on to the next. The ONLY thing online games have to keep you at the very end is the social connection. Sure, that's exactly what online games are, but it's just a thought to sink in. Just remember this: Only sheep get eaten by wolves.

Unless they offer a dwarf tossing minigame, this expansion will not be enough to lure me back into Azeroth.
