I was wondering if anybody knows of a free mmorpg that I dont have to download. Something like RuneScape, but hopefully with better graphics.

    Off-topic here, I'm sorry, but I have to say this:

    On-topic,

    Runescape is the only one I know of.  Sorry.

    Sadly, the majority of online players' definition of a newbie, noob, newb:

    Theres gotta be something out there. Im just looking for something quick to play untill my graphics card comes in so I can play FFXI. But, I cant find anything, so someone please help me out here.

    If you want a mmorpg that you don't have to download your going to have to stick with runescape.

    Ontopic: Yes unfortunately I have exhausted my resources and have found the only game that you can play for free that doesn't require downloading first is runescape like everyone else has said sorry.

    Race war kingdoms is one but it doesn't focus on graphics. It's a browser game I think, and is a strategy/rpg sort of game. There are many browser games out there (no dl needed) but ones like Runescape specifically? I don't know. RWK is fun for the first 100 lvls and then after that it gets lame. there are people in the millions of lvls I think. In it you can build your own kingdom and conquer others and set taxes, etc. You choose the form you wish to rule as (where the rpg aspect comes into play) and basically just fight monsters for exp, socialize with other rulers/characters and craft items...
