Forgive me noobness, but what is a Linkshell?

    FFXI's equivalent to a clan. A linkshell is an item that your character carries that allows you to send and receieve messages to whole clan. This allows you set up parties are ask for help or advice.

    "Let me see if understand you... If I put my sword down and you put your rock down, we'll kill each other like civilized people?"
