What server do you hear has the best community / economy?

in Final Fantasy XI
I'm starting the game tonight, havent played yet tho (still updating the game >.<)

I'm curious on what server you guys hear the most about in terms of having a nice community, and not a total failure of the economy. I realise that ever server will have bots / farmers but i'm just looking for a new home that i can enjoy, heh i'd even read tons of stuff while waiting and i think i'm leaning towards my first character being a THF/NIN Tarutaru LOL. I know other classes / races might be better, i was gonna go hume or whatever the humans are called but i saw this mouse looking midget and said omg i gotta be that for shits and giggles.

I just dont want to have a bad experience being it that this will be the first p2p mmo i've jumped into without knowing a single soul, much less jumping into the unexpected. I do want to say this forum / website enticed me to try FFXI, and with that, thankyou.

    you cant have a subjob straight away. you cant get nin straight away either. you start off with 6 jobs: rdm, war, mnk, blm, whm, thf

    when you get to lvl 18 you can do a quest for a subjob (keeps the game in balance)

    when you get to lvl 30 you can get an advanced job (and the game really starts to grow)

    just come and join Fenrir, the third server i went to. this server is staying with my character till the (impossible) time comes for ffxi to shut down... if ever

    when you create a character you need to type under world: "Fenrir" then you need a world pass for the password, i have next to no money at the moment and am no where near any of the starting nations, can somebody buy this guy one?

    I am wanting to get back in as well...is there a way to join and go straight to that server or just kepe making charcters until you get it?

    the world pass is easier but costs a bit of money to someone already on the server, or you can just keep remaking characters till you get on

    Greetings Unreal,

    I actually have the 2007 collection version on order so with your permission may I send you a tell for a link pearl and start out with a group of people getting into the game as well?  If not I'll respect your choice if so, the game isnt due to release till Nov 7th so it would still be about 2 weeks before I make it in.
