in Pirates of the Burning Sea

We are the Illuminati, a society of like minded gamers who have gathered together to display excellence in online gaming. Founded in 2003 for the MMORPG The Matrix Online, we have since transitioned into a multigaming society centered around community. Each branch is lead autonomously from the organization, but shares a common member pool. Our current supported titles are World of Warcraft, and Battlefield 2. Our members also play a slew of other titles on the side.

We have been looking at a new MMORPG to branch out to, as some of us (my self included) really don't fancy WoW all that much. Pirates of the Burning Sea appears to be that unique title that may break the mold. This provides us with an oppertunity to get on the ground floor of something special, and I know you all recognize this as well or you wouldn't be here either.

Spain is where our allegiance lies, we are accepting applications from Merchant and Navy alike. I have no intention of expanding beyond the society size limit imposed by the development team. I feel that the number they chose will allow us to expand to a decent size while each person retains their individuality.

Our goal as an organization within POTBS is straight forward. We're here to have fun. If you want to have fun, then you've found the right society.

We have many services at our disposal to pass the time, many of these very devices were used during the long wait three years ago.

Last but not least, you have our community that has been forged through years of conflict in the digital realm.

All of this is poised to spill over into Pirates of the Burning Sea.  If you are interested in joining The Illuminati please post in this thread some basic information.

    might be interested. I was always a rogue in my UO guilds that I built and only had CLOSE CLOSE CLSOE friends

    always looking for close gaming friends

    I will start out merchant more than likely but as soon as funds allow will be straight Navy

    We've all stayed together even after everybody left the Matrix Online, and before we went into a multi gaming society.

    anyone else disturbed by the fact that they played Matrix image

    besides face of mankind, matrix is without a doubt the worst mmo in history

    finally, the name illuminati isnt exactly something to be proud of if you understand that organization's role in developing the heglian theory of conflict to distract people while bankers steal control of the planet

    thank you for coming to this topic, now first of all we of course have totaly nothing to do with the old Illuminati.

    second, if you hate MxO, why don't you come to the MxO forums here on mmorpg.com and start complaining about the game with all the other dumb people.
