I found World of Warcraft Collectors Edition on sale at EBgames for $49.99! (Link inside)

         When browsing ebgames over the weekend, I found World of Warcraft Collectors Edition on there site, priced at an unbeleiveable $49.99, more then likely it'll be $70 when it comes out, so I thought I'd share the information with everyone.

Offtopic, but since I posted it on Blizzard's Battlenet forum above, it sparked a HUGE conversation on if the price will be honored or not, I called up EBgames twice since the conversation broke out, they said they'd honor the price as a sale price, so order now =)

    thats why I posted, it's an unbeleivable price and probably the game of the year, well I hope anyways.

    why buy a colectors edition?? they never come with anything extra special unless your a ebay seller trying to make extra money off a dofus who thinks the collectors edition will some how improve there game play. LOL sorry i just stick with the regular boxes 30$ extra for a box a art cd or some crap doesnt seem worth it. plus i wouldnt keep it long enough im just not a pack rat lol. sorry if i ofend anyone just seems not worth it. imageimageimageimage

    I agree, i'm waiting till they make a trial so you don't have to buy any cd's which will probably not happen anyway but oh well.

    yep same here WoW is the game both me and my wife are looking forward to when it hits its by by daoc lol. to ppl saying what if its bad i say oh well and move back to daoc also daoc is the most  stable game out there the biggest thing i love about the game personally.imageimage

    The reason why the topic is a big deal, is the NORMAL EDITION is the same price, and being able to buy a COllectors wit all the extra bells and whistles is a good idea in my opinion if they stay the same price. But I know the Collectors will go up to $70 around tiem of launch.

    Also, Free Trials only go with games that don't sell.

    Horizons and Anarchy Online are not that popular, and are losign subscribers fast, so to lure people in, they make the game free.

    no the game isnt out yet, thats probably the price for reserving a copy or something.
