is the beta you are refering to that site that is linked here. Because that is for Singapore and they will not be releasing a Global beta. IMC sold the publishing rights to a number of companies for specific localities. The Singapore company does NOT have the license to allow NA/EU users on.

But I guess none of that matters if you are in Singapore ^^

No, Boommer99 is correct. granadoespada.sg is for Singapore version of the game. if your from the US/EU then you WILL be IP banned sooner or later. the publishing rights for Granado Espada US/EU version have not been sold yet , and sadly, chances are they never will be. its not looking good so far, as even Japan has its own version.

Actually, I think that the NA/EU rights have been sold. More news as soon as the press release goes out.

I am awaiting word (and or press-release) before saying anything.
But I have basically seen the dried ink. Its a done deal.
On the downside, it may take a while to get here (like next fall
at the earliest :X)

I see. well its good news that
there is a western publisher. it would be a shame to not release a game
like this in the west. do you know if the company in question has the
rights for US & EU or just the US?

NA/EU. And it is VERY likely the name will be changed. I cannot say to what yet though.

It would be a shame if GE dosen't hit EU or NA.That would be the companies bad luck they wont make money haha (but thats just me ).By the way alpha closed beta already started on the 13th of oct...so lets hope the GE beta starts in november.

I just got the following today in a email in regards to english beta signups I applied for few months back so id say closed beta is starting shortly and a month after that open beta should begin.

I am trying to figure out where this email is coming from. Where
do you all live. The company that owns the rights to the EU/NA
release hasn't even announced that they have them, so it is a little
shocking to see something about an english beta. Unless of course
they are still the Singapore beta.

When you sign up for beta theres a "rest of the world" option.

I dont think there is anything illegal with taking people's details ready for when they have euro/NA rights. but for the people who have signed up from there i would be very supprised if they got a confirmation from GE untill eveything had been finalised. Having said that, heh im UK and ive signed up. hopefully they will forgot to check my IP address!
