    the 40 people have 24 hours and only 13 people have confirmed but i'm realy unlucky so i think even if they select 20 new people i wont get picked and it probably wont happen but but u never know

    If its true that when you drop a cat it lands on its feet or if you drop toast it lands butter-side down... what happens if you strap toast to a cats back and drop it?

    I think its lame that they lied and did it a day early. Considering today is the 15th and its no where near midnight.

    How did they do it a day early?  The contest said the 15th, and the 15th started at 12:01am... not real hard to figure out.

     

    If its true that when you drop a cat it lands on its feet or if you drop toast it lands butter-side down... what happens if you strap toast to a cats back and drop it?

    Posting doesnt matter :)

    During the time of beta contest, if you sign in, 5 times a week, you get an extra raffle ticket thrown into the raffle machine.  It has to do with the amount of times you log in.

    Stars are based on how often you log-in during a 30day (I think) period and have nothing to do with post count. Before the contest I was down to 1 star, but since the contest started my star count has gone up.

    Check this site once a day and your star count will go up.

    To have a chance at winning these contests:

    1) Sign-up early

    2) Log in often ( auto log-in works also )

    Ahhh ok, thanks for the explantion of the stars. That had me baffeled.

    I have mostly just remained log in all the time, but I'm glad I found this site. (not to worried about the contest since I had joined so late) But besides that I've found TONS of useful information that other wise I wouldn't have gotten.

    Thanks to all that has made this site possiable!!!!

    Well thats not Midnight of the 15th either now is it? Its 12:01 AM of 15th. Yes they had a timer. But the time and date mentioned is not what the timer was counting down to. No big deal becasue I didn't get drawn anyway but I would have been upset had I expected it to be at Midnight on the 15th instead of Midnight on the 14th as it was done.

    The date changes effective of 00:00 Hours OR 12:00am (Midnight). Not 00:01 or 12:01am.

    Well it doesnt really matter, it said the 15th, I checked email at 12:54am on the 15th and won so....  But I still dont understand the star system.  I've seen people with 6 posts that are Hardcore Members... then theres me with 228 posts or something and I am only an advanced member.
