limit signature size.

its getting crazy, i have 1024*728 and some signatures are taking up half to over half the page.

i know there is an option to turn them off, though i see no reason why i should have to ruin my forum going experiance for a few excessive people

also this forum would kill a dial up computer.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

    Turning off signatures only gets rid of about 1/2 to 3/4ths of them. The others still show up. Scaramoosh's sig is one that still shows up.

    I came across a signature thats length was MUCH larger then a page for scrolling down.

    Yes! pleace limit it, It's a signature, not a farewell letter or a gallery

    I would have to agree with this topic.
    I love a good visual signature banner, but people don't have much restraint in this area; so maybe cutting it down to a more managable size would be appropriate. Like the others who have posted I don't want to disable them since I enjoy seeing the creativity... but some need a helping hand.

    Maybe poll the users to find out what they want?

    My 2cents of course.

    Yea i kinda agree here in eve's forums we have forum signiture rules that limit the width and height of a signiture and also there is a maximum file size too and of course the signitures have to be eve related. Despite these limitations some of the signitures are very imaginative.
