Now that the beta contest is over, i'm curious, when will the people that win actually get the info to test it?

    That is up to Cryptic Studios.  We will send them the list of winners and they will setup the accounts for you.  If they give us any updates we will update the winners with that news via e-mail.

    Well, that atleast sums things up for us.  Hehe.  Hopefully they give this to us soon.. cause I'm anxious to play :D.  Thanks a lot Admin.

    I hate to tell all of you winners but you are behind all of the people who paid for preorder discs.  The order for entry in to beta is this:

    1) Veteran CoH forum members

    2) Pre-orders

    3) Contest winners.

    It's probably accurate to say you will not get into beta for 2-4 weeks.  Maybe more.

    Thats not accurate, these 20 winners I believe were reserved slots.

    They may have reserved slots but as of right now on the CoH website they are still only taking in forum members.  Just basing my guess on the info that cryptic posts. image

    So I guess being a contest winner really means nothing, since next week their starting to let the pre-order people into beta. Bummer image

    edit: sorry, it might mean something to the other winners but i've been pre-ordered for a couple months now so it doesnt mean much to me

      Looks like we contest winners are even before any of this.  My email from Cryptic says they should be sending the link for download today, woohoo!

    March 22nd   Begin Adding Pre-order Customers to Beta
    March 29th   Host Public Beta Sign-up
    April 7th   All Pre-Order Customers Invited to Beta
    April 14th   Randomly Selected Public Beta Invites Sent Out
    April 22nd   Beta shutdown to prepare for Launch
    April 25th   3-Day Pre-order only Head Start
    April 28th   Launch!

    Have'nt got no e-mail about the Beta from Cryptic either, and I don't have no spam filters on my

    e-mail that I used for this. Not looking good image.

    I would of assumed that all of the winners would of been sent e-mails at the same time?

    Oh well, NCAA tournament starts today, guess thats what I'll be doing all day today.

    Make sure you guys keep us updated on how everything is. I went the other day to pre-order but all the places I checked are sold out of the preorder boxes. I may just wait until the game releases before I order now. Of course if any of you contest winners preordered as well and are not using the preorder beta invite, just let me know.
