EB Games no longer posting negative product reviews for SWG Complete?

I tried to post 2 reviews in the last 2 weeks for SWG Complete. Neither review added to the 29 reviews posted already. Neither were flamy or inappropriate in any way, other than to say 'try the demo first... the population is really low... lots of bugs etc'.

Anyone else have this issue.

If anyone has the time and motivation, please go to the site and write a review and check back 2 days later to see if they posted it (they say they have 48 hrs to review it and post it).

    Almost every review on there is negitive, they probably got so many that they haven't had time to post them all yet.

    If you can stomach it (I can't) someone should write a positive review and see if it gets posted.

    I've played the game since release and it was amazing. There was a lot to do even if you didn't have a lot of time to devote to playing. I will admit i quit playing after the CU because it got rediculously pointless and stupid. I've played WoW since then.     There is no way that the NGE has "more customability" than either previous version of the game.  The NGE removed the ability to customize your characters and has only recently started adding some of that back in.  This means that he could only mean that the NGE itself has more customability from when the NGE launched, which also means that he must have known of the changes.  Therefore he is lying about either when he quit or not knowing why everyone says it is bad.

    Yeah, there's a few, but they read like bloody commercials. I wonder who wrote themimage?

    Someone write a positive, Pirrg like review that is so glowing and disgusting that it's patently false and see if it gets posted.

    Negative reviews may stop people from buying the thing.  A fake positive review that raises expectations to levels that our resident troll states as "facts" but that are completely false will lead to someone returning the product to EB and telling THEM off.

    It's at 2 1/2 stars and the three reviews listed have all given the game a one.

    The interesting thing about the reviews is that they are almost all either 1 Star or 5 Star.  And all of the 5 Star reviews seem to have deliberate misspellings or incorrectly placed lower case letters.  (The one exception being the review quoted above.)

    This means one of two things, neither of them good for SOE.  Either the lovers of this game are illiterate l33t idiots that I would not want to play online with...  or SOE has to post really, really fake looking reviews touting their failing game.

    Given that EB games is a large channel retailer, I tend to lean towards option number 2.  But number one is certainly an option in the current state of affairs.

    I think we can safely say LEC had nothing to do with the positive
    reviews.  They don't think the folks who like to play MMORPGs like
    to read.  Now if a couple five star reviews show up and contain
    less than a sentence, LEC had decided to do some marketing.

    Well I just checked for my review and it was not there. Not suprised at all. Infact it looks like they are not allwoing any new reviews at all.

    Money talks.  $OE must be cutting a check to EB.  Trust me, I know people that work for EB.  The company is run by slimes now.  Any perk that existed for the employees has been taken away since "new owners" took over.  I wouldn't put it past them to try to spin the reviews for a little greenfrom $OE.

    Well, they posted a handful of new reviews, all negative, but interestingly, left the 3 reviews I wrote (all under different names) out. Anyone else wrote one that didn't make the 'cut'?

    You know what's really cool is that EB games gave me my money back for my SWG game cards.  They felt my pain and refunded me because SOE misled their customers and gave us a buggy piece of crap when they surprised us with the NGE.  That was really cool of EB I must say.  Two thumbs up guys!
