I think swg pre-cu was the best online game ever made i play wow now becasue it is the best right now. I HOPE biowere rumor is ture and they do bring the game back like it was in pre-cu before the mass amounts of jedi and the village. I hate sony for what they did to swg and if i was asked to rank the game in true i would give it maby a 2 and that would be pushing it

If bioware really is working on an MMO for Star wars I hope its more like KOTOR. The one thing that bugged me in SWG was their limitations on what the develpoers could put into the game content wise without disrupting there "timeline" was a little too restrictive.

So what you're saying is, you paid to play a "horrendus" game for 3+ years.

It's not that I think SWG was the best game or even a great game.
It's just that it had to so much raw potential Until SOE went and screwed it up.
Do we really need another one of these threads? There must be... AT LEAST over 100 threads of people saying the same thing over and over and over again.
Please do a search or at least read the other 99 threads about SOE and what they've done to SWG.
Please oh please stop beating the dead horse and just walk away.

Have to say I was a fan of Pre-Cu with prema death and all lol...
However I have heard 2 rumors on this subject not sure what to think.
1. (Bio-ware is where some of the developers are employed is the only fact) Someone is working on Pre-cu with the original developers to "fix" pre-cu and "add more content" to it.
this next one is um kind of bad if true in my opinion although I think someone confused it for the SWG package release that's happening in november...
2. Classic servers will be announced sometime this winter however it will be the NGE with the diffrence being that all the old game play style and prof.'s will be in it. In other words jedi tefs, jedi unlock but not uber, slicing and all prof. but no skill boxes etc. hence the NGE factor.
I think 2 is completely wrong because I don't understand how you can have all prof.'s in the NGE without the use of skill boxes etc...
Oh and another thing don't ever expect to see "Spice" in any SWG again other than an emu. The lead developer just stated on a pod cast the other day the reason spice is gone is because lucas arts said they didn't feel it was a good thing to portray in a SW game and pretty much told SOE to take it out.

i remember all the fun i was before the creation of the village.
i remember the non-stop attack between anchorage and bestine!
yup have to agree, pre-CU was the best the game ever was. I went back recently on the trial pulled my jedi out only to see a billion other little padawans running around. To think of everything the original jedis had to go through only to have it handed to these people cause SOE thought it would boost sales and subs.
Will Lucas ever find a company to do his vision properly or more of the these companies that just use the name to make a few billion then drag it through the mud. Saddening and maddening, If i was him id sue them for stupidity...purchased rights or not.
