Will the PC and xbox 360 have same release date?

I was just wondering if they will have the same release date, I heard that the PC version would come out first, and the Xbox 360 version 6 months later, does anyone know if that's true. If it is, why would they release them at different times, it would make more sense to do it all together, wouldn't it?

I doubt anyone knows considering that Huxley isn't even in closed beta and has no release dates yet at all.  Just guessing though I would say that it is likely that they will come out at or about the same time similar to PSU.

Huxley will not come out until late 2007, maybe even 2008. It most certainly will not release on January 1st 2007. 2008 maybe.

As for the 360 and PC versions, it would be in the best interests of the companies involved to release as close together as possible. I'm pretty sure since PC users and 360 users will play together they will release fairly close together.

Huxley was supposed to com eout this summer, why are you saying late 2007 or mabye even 2008. I think early 2007.

Because the game is no where near ready yet, and I doubt it'll be ready before the Summer of 2007. Currently the estimated release date is Q1 2007, which goes until March, and I suppose they could make it by then, but they would be rushing the game frankly. I'm still trying to get an interview with the dev team going, and you can be damned sure I'll be asking about a release time frame :D

How would you get an interview with the devs, do you work for a game company?

You dont usually get release dates for consoles and PC's on the same date. Its bad for sales, and advertising.

The developers are expecting to have the 360 version ready about six months after the PC release.

There has been no marketing push.

Expect 6 months of heavy hype before release.

Doesn't really matter, the 360 crowd will be returning their copies to EB after getting pwned by the pc crowd.

Seriously every single preview/interview with Webzen answers the OP's question: the Xbox360 version will be released (at least) 6 months after the PC version.

And the 360 owners won't be returning their copies because they get owned by the PC crowd, considering the fact that PC and 360 players cannot play against one another. (also confirmed in multiple previews and interviews)

True and also the 360 crowd will be playing Halo 3, because god forbid they play an actual good FPS. I think the Halo games kick ass, they have to be good games to have sold so much lol.

If youre a game developer youre a fairly close minded one.  I'm not arguing that sales means success but what I am saying is that just because a game is on a console, doesn't mean it's "dumbed down" and definitely doesn't mean that it's automatically "not a good game".

Anyways back to the topic at hand, it's the end of March now and no Huxley, nor any official release date, looks like the people predicting for 2008 were right, lol

I guess in the meantime ill keep doing the free mmorpg shuffle, although corum online has been holding my interest for some time now...
