Don't tell the French government that...don't they have a whole governmental organization devoted to keeping their language pure?  That's a bit over the top if you asked me image

Draenor, you took German for 4 years? That's impressive. Everyone I've
ever talked to who said German was easy never got past the basics.

I envy you. I love German and always wished it came more naturally to me.

Oh, and with spanish you'll be just a few steps away from learning portuguese(brazilian).... Its a combo image

Der Die and Das aren't that hard to memorize...There are some words that make no sense at all for their "gender", such as "rock"(skirt) being being a masculine noun...but those end up being easier to remember because they are so goofy.  Gramatically though, German is very basic...you put the primary verb in the second position and any further modifying verbs go at the end of the sentence in their infinitive form...certain cases vary a little bit but it's very easy to get the basics down and be able to converse with people and have them know what you are talking about...Mastery of the language just takes practice.
What i meant with German grammar being hard is the verb tenses... or whatever you call them (don't study german for 2 years now...).. I mean, Konjuntiv, Dativ and Genitiv... Knowing when to use wich is kind of hard... I mean, I was in the German School for 5 years and in the last I still made some mistakes misusing Konjuntiv/Dativ.... Der, Die, Das, Den, Die, Das, Dem, Der, Dem, Des, Der, Dem(??? das??? can't remember :S).... German isn't an easy language....

Oh, and to the OP, French has only 2 genres, Le and La.... Les is the plural. But I think most languages have 2 genres... English is the only one I know that only has 1.. THE.. god, english is so easy, how come some people can't speak it decently???
