Come on guys. Don't be so harsh. Why does everyone become so nasty?
Maybe he prefers this forum instead of the LOTR site. If you have the info he asked for just answer the question without the asides. If your opinion is that it's a poor question then just don't reply.
I would really enjoy seeing fellow gamers treat each other with more respect in these forums. I for one have not felt good about bashing people.
This is going to be the worst excuse for a MMO ever. LOTR fans should be ashamed. City Of Heroes could be understood for playing goody goody douchebags, but Lord Of The Rings? That makes no sense!
Hopefully the pvp will make up for the lack of evil races. I could definately get into an evil human, slashing through enemies with ease.
Kruniac... Ever since this game was MEO years ago under a different developer, the only playable races I saw were Man, Elf, Dwarf, and Hobbit. Those were all that were planned from the outset. They had an idea at one time to make corrupted and uncorrupted branching for the classes, but it was purely a question of expediency when fighting Sauron against principles when fighting Sauron. EG, evil was measured by how willing to use fire to fight fire. The PVP in LOTRO will hinge on temporarily taking on the persona of an evil creature and doing battle in that fashion.
This isn't LOTR: Dark Ages of Camelot or LOTR: Ultima Online and it never was. It isn't even LOTR: World of Warcraft because there just isn't RvR.
I don't mind if people wanted LOTR: Hard Core PVP and aren't getting it, and are hence disappointed. But acting like it is a surprise or a last minute trick is misleading. This has been the path they've been on for years.
Like the whole dev cycle back to concept sketches and the initial class list.
There wasn't any Noldor or teleri in game either only sindar and some other lesser elfs if I understood correctly. I also dont know if you can play dunedan cause they are so superior compared to normal people in middle-earth.
4 races? Wow the devs must be really smart. Most games go for more races. I guess because of the lack of race choices there must be like 20 different classes right?
Comments
Playable:
Men, Elves, Dwarfs, Hobits.
Non-Playable:
More or less all of LotR races.
*Hint*
Use serch, try google, mybe official site so you will not look like total moron.
Go to lotro.com. Please don't post on the forums immediately. Read the FAQ. You won't exactly get a warm reception if you don't.

You know, you'd do alot more good by actually reading the information on the game.
As for the Dunedain, they're like wizards, too powerful to be playable.
