Its called subspace but the new version of the game you download is called Continuum. Its awesome, i have played it many years... Space shooter, many players form all over the world. Play the bigger zone like trenchwars and extreme games then go to the awesome smaller ones like Starwarzone. ILOVE IT

Much of it is player run and you can create your own server and invent new styles of the game. Very cool old game. It was the first real succesful online action game. Really worth checking out if you have spare time.

very competitive... dueling, basing, flagging, elemination or just kill, even has a couple rpg type zones

    That was actually my first big Online Game in the early 90s before UO came out. I still have the original pack somewhere ;)

    Should download the client againnow , it stopped working on my old computer for some reason I couldnt figure out :)

    cool, this is indeed interesting, i will try this one later...  but how would you compare this to wow?
    especially with the much awaited expansion : Burning Crusade which will release on Janury.. :D

    Wow subspace still alive ? I haven't played that since 1995. Err.... subspace would never compare to wow. It's like comparing between eating in a mcdonalds and eating at an expensive french restaurant.

    was my first online game too but for some resone i never stopped playing it... back when it came out only 15% of the players had a connection good enough to actually play it

    its a competitive space shooter not an rpg... but they have a couple new rpg modded zones now

    any other old subspace players?

    you will have to download the newer Continuum client, they keep it pretty well updated

    Nah, more between sliced bread and mcdonalds.

    I alpha/beta subspace and in the day it was a great game.  I loved the original maps.  The community has turned into a bunch of smacktalking tards for my taste.  They don't like some style of play and they have to dis it.
