    Is it me or does the trees in Darkfall's screenshots look like 2d models? Kinda like they had an artist draw it on a piece of paper and just plaster it inside the game world.

    Notice the tree's tops on the upper right hand corner of the pciture.

    Yes, sprites, like in oblivion, to improve performance, and I thinkit looks sweeter.

    Very nice...there seems to be a build up in official updates coming from the lads in Athens. I would even venture to speculate that this familiar pattern hints at some possible completion of work. Possibly the world environments...which is a good thing. One step closer. image

    Of course, what you fail to mention is that the screenshot you found happens to be on the -lowest possible settings-.  Yes, the graphics in AC are outdated, but they are nowhere near as terrible as you're trying to portray them. 

    But the point stands, Darkfall has very decent graphics as far as today's standards go.  They are not amazing, and you probably won't need a killer system to run the game, but they aren't terrible or outdated.

    Oh, how i miss AC...i only hope the gameplay in Darkfall is the same or better, i don't give a shit about pretty graphics, bring on the PVP!

    -edit- not saying that the screenshots look crap, they do indeed look much better than WOW's
