For those who are looking for a good FREE MMO..

OKAY! Choose only TWO of these. And you will forever know what to look for in games.

GOOD

FREE

GRAPHICS

If the game is Good, and the graphics are nice, chances are... its NOT free (any p2p game). If the game is free, AND good, it's going to look like shit. If the game is free and has the graphics, it's not gonna be the least bit good.

Hope this helps image

I don't mind paying for a game with good gameplay and graphics. Sounds like Warhammer!

You mean it sounds like the concept of the WAR game. If the game is that good, will only be told in time.

bah idk about that, because IMO a good game cant have no monthly fee. and again, IMO no MMORPG is good unless it has a monthly fee.

A good game with enough content to keep enough people satisfied requires work and development. Few are willing to do that for free, on a level that is required to keep the game good and entertaining. That is, as long as we're talking about MMOGs.

A decent, free, and still in  open-beta game is Rappelz. A Gpotato game ( also runs Flyff for Fun and Space Cowboy)

Except for the lag generated by so many camped at the teleporters of each of the towns and some hunting area's ( since it is still beta, only 1 server  for PvP and 1 for PvE, to house MANY MANY players) the game itself is enjoyable.

Perhaps more character creation choices would be nice but overall, it has a good quest system (if quests followed from creation on and actually READ, takes your little newb off beginners island quite well), has good character growth and decent graphics.

It really doesnt offer any trade skills, so if you are a trade skill nut, it isn't a place for you, but offers many ways to spend hard earned "job points" in specializing your character in it's chosen profession.

It's only a matter of time.....

Anyways, Guildwars had an awesome idea, theres no monthly fees, great
gameplay and graphics. However, you host your own server and feel
sometimes lonely. Nonetheless, it is still an awesome game.

  • This also depends on which kind of game do you like. 2D or 3D?

If 2D I suggest you to play games made by tqdigital

If 3D I suggest you go and play SRO, Silk Road Online.

GW was good, but I didnt like the fact that if you leave town by yourself, you run into nobody else. So yeah, it did get lonely haha

I tried Rappelz and it didn't satisfy me at all. The first thing that blew me away from it was I would talk in global chat, find someone who needed the same boss to kill, party up only to find that we couldn't see one another and were probably on two seperate instances.
As well it reminds me of Lineage 2 with the lack of good graphics as well as other faults.

As for myself, I'm waiting for an MMORPG with graphics I can stand watching at while having a good combat and pvp system.
