Final Fantasy and BOTS

in Final Fantasy XI
I started playing final fantasy the day it was released in the shops yet i quit due to the ammount of bots that appeared within the first week, there where players running into walls and shouting there bot client and version number all over the place and game money was avalible in the millions from every site 3 days after it was released.

However i have been told that the botting has calmed down now but remain unconvinced...

    There are still camping bots, who claims poping NMs, bots that diging on chickens and fishing bots. so yea, there are many of these, but on other hand there are not THAT many :>

    I know that SE has been banning a lot of accounts over the past year to get rid of the bots. I'm hoping it's not as bad as it was, since I'm going to be returning to the game myself in about a week.

    I know there are a lot fewer fishing bots now, but havn't really gone camping in a long long time so not sure about those.

    Unless you're talking about the JP Ps2 Version, You didn't start playing untill a bit over 1 1/2 Years after It was released.  Honeslty, i've never seen the Gilselling Advertisements, I've heard about them. But Also that SE started banning them for advertising things that are agasint the ToS (RMT) So theres no Shoutting Advertisments now.

    There are still quite a few botters out there today, But only... maybe 3 Diffrent types of botters. You've got Fishing, Claim, & Crafters.

    There actually arent many botters, depends on your server I guess, I only rarely ever see bots and when I do they are just repeated messages for selling stuff

    Bots stay to towns now!

    You're right, Because noone who speaks english can speak Japanese. I mean thats just crazy.

    haha, telaki you act like a 5 year old. Only a child, or someone very immature would make an obvious conuter-point like that. Obviously people in America speak japanese but it stands to reason that he was most likely talking about the NA version. I just get sick of reading your trolling posts in every thread.

    And what do you think my impression of you is? You're not exactally Mr. Sunshine. You've made like 5 Total posts in the FFXI General Discussion Area and 2 of them have been flamming me. This is "General Discussion" Where we Discuss topics. If you don't like my point of view, Don't read the posts And certainly don't reply to them unless you're going to add somthing to further discussion.

    What does my number of posts have to do with anything? As you can see I've been here for quite a while. So your telling me that because you have to act condescending to people I shouldn't read the whole forum for fear of coming upon one of your posts? Why don't you just step off your high horse. I furthered the discussion by informing you that it was dumb to make a big deal out of him saying he got the game when it first came out. The only reason I'm even still replying is because if I don't you'll probably say I had nothing left to say or I ran scared.

    And now I'm saying you're a hypocrite. Because you're telling me what I'm doing is dumb, and you're doing the same damn thing. At least when I made that reply, I said more than just a correction (Unlike you). In my second reply, I need to introduce you to a new word, Its called "Sarcasm".

    In total, I've added more helpfull information to this thread then you. You havn't added anything, All you've done is flame and troll.

    I won't be replying to you in this thread again because, I don't feed the trolls.

    Im a troll? I've only posted like 30 times! I don't even like posting, everyday when I read my email I dread to see new post alert becuase I know I have to continue fighting with you. If you knew me you would know that this is not something I normally do but I just hate it when people are obnoxious like that. I dont care if you dont reply I just want it to be known that I never have wars like this and I dont like having them, but what are you gonna do you know.

    Viciousexe, It doesn't matter how many times you've posted, Wheather 30 or 300. A forum troll is a person who enters an established community such as an online discussion forum and intentionally tries to cause disruption, most often in the form of posting inflammatory, off-topic, or otherwise inappropriate messages.

    I'm the third person to post saying I've found Telaki helpful, Through the last few pages of posts he's answered many questions, And helped many people.

    Wheather you ment to or not, In this thread You look more like a troll than Telaki. Because all you've done so far Is infact troll him, This thread went Off topic because of your first post here. Either you'll realize this and stop posting here, or you'll continue and just be known as a forum troll.

    well when I read it back I did de-rail the thread(even if it was a noble cause). So i apologize to telaki and everyone else, just so everyone knows im not a troll.
