Does Epic or Catacombs work in Win2000?

in Dark Age of Camelot
The game box says Win 2000  not supported but may work for Catacombs and Epic versions.  Is anyone playing on it or know if works/stable???

    Well pretty much everything says that it has a chance to work with windows 2000 but they didnt program it for it, windows 2000 was far from windows best operating system, but yes many people are playing on win2000, not myself personaly but i had 3 friends in my old guild that were running 2000, shouldnt be any problems for you.     Underneath the hood, Windows XP (Windows NT 5.1) and Windows 2000 (Windows NT 5.0) are identical. The only difference is that Windows XP has some performance tweaks that are not critical to gaming, it has the new interface and some new consumer-level features that are not critical to getting games to run.

    I havnt personaly heard any great news about the site most people i know buy from private sorces, lots of risk with anything but a well known online seller, i just ger nervous putting up my money on something that i dont know if its secure, ill do a little more research for ya and let you know what i find
