Action MMORPG

First: I like MMORPGs (it's y favourite genre). So I want to ask: Is there a kind of an action MMORPG?

I mean -for example- klick: attack.....and every time you klick you attack with a sword or something.

Like in the Elder Scrolls games. I don't want automatic attacks. Is there such a game?

And please don't say "Play offline RPGs! Search another damn genre". I want to play online, build groups and meet friends....

Thank you for the upcoming answers!

DDO has that feature when you click to attack a monster a dice is
rolled and if you succed it's a hit, and is really fast. So you may
    like it =)

I already played D&D offline games and the board game and I don't like this dice-system.

But thank you for your answer!!

Sounds like you would enjoy Age of Conan then, it has a directional combat system that is anything but automated.

Unfortunately, its not out till spring

Yep. Age of Conan will have a real time directional combat system, where if your swords hits the enemy character it is a hit. Not some stat determining it.

Right now, I'd say Phantasy Star Universe, Risk Your Life (image not worth paying for IMO), and...that is about all I know at the moment. There are others I'm sure. Age of Conan is one I would say, but that is not out yet.

Not any more, your turrets lock on to targets now, the only aiming left to do is by turning your vehicle for your front weapon to hit the target as well.

Most of the combat is lock on and hold the fire button while driving around in circles.

I would say City of Heroes/Villians.

It's not fantasy based, but it is very action orientated.  It lacks the depth of other MMO's out there, but for just logging on, getting a team ,and smashing stuff, I don't think there is a better MMO out there.  Plus, you can log on and solo if your not in the mood for a group.

The fighting is all action based.  1 attack, for 1 click of a hotkey or mouse.  Plus, unlike many MMO's, where the goal is typically to fight 1 enemy at a time, you are often fighting large groups of enemies.  I mean, what kind of super hero only fights 1 enemy at a time.

Most would agree, that it's not the game to keep you enthralled for months on end, but damn it sure is fun as a casual play MMO.

Rakion would be your answer, although I don't know if it can be counted as an MMORPG, simply this is how the game works: You get 3 character slots and 5 different classes - Blacksmith, Warrior, Assasin, Mage and Archer. And now this is the bit where it is different from other MMORPGs, instead of battling creatures in a big world you go into a game lobby where you can choose from different game rooms, in each game room hosted by players, the host chooses the map and starts the game. How it works is other people join the game with their character and they battle it out in a small scale PvP, the more kills you get the more XP you get and gold, XP gives more levels obviously and gold enables you to buy items for your character. The way the battle system works is that each character has a short range and long range weapon, different combinations of clicks of the mouse and arrow keys (game uses wasd) give different moves/attacks. If you're intersted find out about the game here http://rakion.softnyx.net/.

exatcly what i wanted to say when i saw this post.and it's free u should defenetly try it because the client is just 200-300mb so it won't take more then 30-40min or so..but be aware it's full of laggers and a few hackers...it's prety good for a f2p mmo-action game.
    if u decide to play it i'll meet u there...and we'll probably fight...so beware:)

Sorry for my bad grammar English is not my native language

As mentioned above, Age of Conan really sounds like your thing. Although it's not released yet, but sure looks very promising and worth the wait!
