Just got off the phone with Customer Service.

 

I was a faithful player of this game until May of this year when my new work schedule and lack of playtime prevented me from being able to play this game any further. 

I just checked my bank statement today to discover that I have been charged TODAY unauthorized. 

Upon calling them, I was informed that they are currently having issues, billing old accounts that are inactive as current.

Just a warning, I IMMEDIATELY made a call to my bank to state the charges were not valid.

I was told by Turbine that they are current investigating the matter and don't have an estimate on when it would be fixed.

    Note: PlayNC will refuse to allow you access to your account if you forget your password and can't provide a scanned image of the product key for the first product you purchased..... LOL

    I revived my account anyway this month so I escaped the mistake.

    Makes you wonder if they will look at all the inactives that were billed this month for the first time in ages and refund them, they might refund mine by accident.

    I will keep an eye out and report back if that does happen.

     

    I used to visit this site a lot however in recent years it has become the home of negative forum posts, illogical opinions and tantrums so I visit less often.

    The same thing has happened to me.  Be warned indeed, Turbine is a very untrustworthy company.

    It is interesting that the only two people that seem to be hit by this issue have the following in common:

    First post

    Name of 5 characters in lower case

    No errors in the post.  Language almost too specific for it to be their first language.

     

    image This does smell of a conspiracy  image

    Either way it wont affect me image
