Once again, my lack of communicating effectively comes back to bite me.
BTW - The only reason it's private is so that we can talk about whatever we'd like. If it was a public board, I dont think it would be that long before we recieved a threatening email from SOE.

I'm not saying we would BUT...accepting advertising does not HAVE to mean being compromised. Speaking for myself personally I would have no problem letting them advertise and continuing to speak the truth. If I ran things (and I don't) I would have no problem telling them where to shove their money if they tried using it as leverage. In fact, I might get great pleasure from being able to do so.
The advantage of Leel's idea is that it is not a venture to make money, it is based on being "REAL" and telling the "REAL" truth and having no reason to be influenced. It is a labor of love. Being able to say "no" does not mean having to say "no" if you catch my drift.
I suppose we could bring that topic up over there.

I was on the Roll Call list, but cant seem to find myself on the members list over at RLMMO? Maybe I missed it (its late, and Im in zombie mode atm), but if not, should I just register normally, or do I gotta send a PM to get squared away? Havent been able to log in here for a month or more (rl bs), so Im kinda playing catch-up on all the progress made on the site/board.
PS- Kudos Leel for getting the board up, /cheer, great idea and definitly something this community needed, glad to see it up and running

I believe that this is well known. I understand that there are those of you who do not agree with the way that we run these forums. That does not, I repeat, NOT give you carte blanche to break our rules whenever you like. For those of you organizing this new site, I sincerely wish you the best of luck, and hope that you are successful. However, my job at THIS site is to enforce our rules.
That being said, further advertisement of competing websites will absolutely not be tolerated and will result in warnings and/or bans.
I believe that enough leniency has been given on this issue.
