The New Bundle

in Final Fantasy XI
Does the new bundle come out today? I called my EB and they said sometime next week. I think i have to buy the whole new bundle casue I canceled my account over a year ago. The ship date says it's today on their website, will they have it on the shelves today or tomorrow? Anybody know?

    Its out today, But won't arrive at most stores untill tomorrow. And some stores Just won't get the game period. In the past FFXI hasn't sold very well, So unless you get a reserved copy, Buy one as they soon arive, or order it online, Most places you go to will be sold out before too long. If the game hasn't sold very well in the past, they won't order too many new copys of it. I found that out when the third expasnion came out, had to order it online.

    Most stores should have it look in best buy also if they dont got it you can buy it online also

    OK, I litterly went everywhere for this game (wal-mart, k-mart, EB, best buy, circuit city, gamestop) and all I kept finding was a disc with rise of the zilart and chains of promathia on it, the treasures of agt urghan was separate.  So I came home and checked the site again, and there it says that you get the original expansion and all 3 expansions on one disc.  Went back out and check best buy (the closest store) to make sure I wasnt mistaken, and still the same thing.  I came back home again and checked the site and decided I was just going to order it online.  When I clicked to open the site to buy, it only had the option to buy the first two expansions for 19.99 and 3rd for 29.99... same as all the stores.  Can someone help me out here... am I missing something?  Or do I have to buy the bundle, then the expansion?

    Are you about to start FFXI for the first time? If so you should only buy the Vana'Diel Collection (FFXI+Rise of Zilart+Chains of Promathia) since you arent able to enter any Aht Urghan area before you reach at least lvl20~
    But to be honest...at lvl20 you have nothing to do there really (starts at lvl50~ i would say).

    The new package which includes all 3 expansions would be the best to buy...but its delayed, thats what "bhagamu" wrote.

    so its your choice..buy the Vana'Diel Collection now (and ToAU later) or wait for the new Collection with all 3 expansions. btw. Vana'Diel Collection shouldnt be expensive... try at ebay, i got my collection for 1$ there :D

    Honestly, if you think that you are really going to get into FF11 then buy the newest package with ToAU.  Many people that I know have reached level 50 really fast after starting the game.  Also, if you plan on getting Puppetmaster, Blue Mage or Corsair at some point early then that would also be a reason to buy the newest expansion because you are able to obtain these jobs at level 30 which can be reached in 5-6 days easily.  And if you plan on leveling White Mage as your first job it would also be smart to buy the ToAU expansion because once you get your teleport spells you can make alot more gil by teleporting people in AU.  If you need any help once you get in the game, write back about it on your next post, I'll buy you a  world pass and give you some gil to start you out.  Remora server ftw.

    im getting the game that has all the
    exspansions and im jusdt wondering if someone would give me a worldpass
    so they could kinda teach me about the game and stuff. I have played
    wow and i know how to work well with others.

    I will be getting it on saturday-wednesday somewhere between there

    Eagler777, You're looking at 2 diffrent things, There are 2 Vana'diel collectors Edition's, the 2006 and the 2007. The 2006 has FFXI + 2 expanions. While the new 2007 has FFXI + 3 expansions.

    I bought my 2007 collectors eddition on amazon and it was a whiteish box soo if you cant find it  in anystores just buy it off amazon.. it was alot cheaper for me to get it off amazon cuz at the walmart it was like 30 dollars and i got it from amazon for 17 mplus tax was 22 dollars =]

    Ok for those of you who want to know:

    The box is silvery/shimmery - with "vana'diel 2007 collection" on it, then the 3 word-arts for all the expansion pacs.

    There is no manual - it's a "quickstart" manual with a map and installation instructions

    It is a guild-wars style box.

    2 DVDS - 1 Installation Disc, 1 Manual Disc.

    And..er... it releases tomorrow at BestBuy, anyway, but since the local Gamestop told me it released on the 8th, and I went back every day, they just decided to give it to me today.


    I'll be online in 1 hour!! yay! Wish me luck, I've been away so long that I count as a newbie.
