How's AC doing now?  I played this game so long ago.  I played 4-5 years ago before moving over to everquest with my real life friends who were playing.  I use to play on SoIclaim back in the day, and was curious how the current population is.  Im looking to play a Computer friendly game that can run on a machine that does not have a high end graphics card.

Is AC still solo friendly??  Was looking for a game to create two characters on for myself and my wife.  We've played Horizons together, and enjoyed it but got burned out on it due to horrible bugs, and lag even on my high end system.

I was thinking of making another swashbuckler, and life mage.  I don't care much for PVP, just want to do quests together, and enjoy playing some games.

I went by the name CaRniac on SoIclaim.

    After reading this I kinda want to come back as well.. It's strange how these feelings never quite disapear

    I know what you mean about those old feelings for this game. I was involved in beta way back when and played the game til they started messing with established characters.  I recently started to play again and it was fun but there were no people around. I ran around to most of the towns and would sometimes see 1 or maybe 2 people around.
    The gameplay and fun factor was good, the lack of players turned me off.

    I came across this topic and was astounded that you guys still play it, personally i had to quit some years ago and im currently just testing out lots of different MMORPGs.

    How is AC doing atm(with the expansion and everything)? I was playin on Harvestgain and i had a lvl 74 ish BM but i can hardly remember any of the game mechanics, would it still be fun for me to go back to AC after all these years? or is everyone such a high lvl that it's kinda pointless?

    Solclaim was my home for a good couple of years and i moved to verdantine when it came out.  Didnt matter because what took me years to do on solclaim in the beginning took me only like a month or two to make up on verdantine lol.  Oh I miss this game.  Specially during the October patches....it comes back around the same time every year.
