WoW Beta... open beta?

Is the upcoming beta a open beta? can anyone play it or is still a closed beta who need some kind of registration?

    As of right now, the beta about to begin for Wow or World of Warcraft is a closed status beta. It will run for like 4 months probably there is however no NDA so expect alot of ppl posting pics and sites to spring up about things as it is galavanted through by testers. Near the end it is supposedly going to be an OPEN beta then one would just download the client thru there bittorrent software and go wreck some alliance/horde havoc, least till you get wiped for release heh.

    I really doubt there be open beta because of course everyone knows their like 1 million blizzard fans and if like all of them try to do beta that be like WAY too much. Plus when has a blizzard held a beta thats open?!?!? Warcraft 3? Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne? Well unless they make this open I'll be suprised.

    Yes there will be a open beta. Blizzard has already said so.

    Most likely it wont be for awhile and be a short time from the actual release of the game. That is usually how it works...
